How do you categorize a band that draws on so many influences? Rock, pop, punk, jam, Reggae, dance, world, surf? Yes, Agave is all of that and yet, somehow manage to make a unique sound which can be described as Southern California rock. "We want our albums and live shows to have the diversity of a jukebox" says frontman Tony Goncalves. "You never know what we're going to play next, but it's either going to rock or make you shake your ass." Agave has just finished recording their second full length studio album entitled "Elegance & Decadence" available at agave.bandcamp.com. The album was recorded at White Horse Recorders and was produced by Shaun Cornell of the band Transfer. It was recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered by Ben Hadsovic, who has worked with bands such as Louis XIV and Portugal. The Man.

Formed in early 2001, Agave has withstood the test of time and various line-up changes to arrive at it's current form. After playing a countless number of shows over the past 12 years across Southern California, Agave is preparing to start a new chapter. They have just finished recording their second full length album entitled "Elegance & Decadence" and are releasing it independently as a testament to all their hard work over the last two years. After the album's release the band is planning on continuing to play shows throughout the year and have already begun working on new material as well.
